The Retreat
Kitchen, Camps Bay Retreat’s restaurant,
provides an intimate dining experience.
Whether Peet,
our Executive Chef, is using specially-aged meats, fresh herbs,
or fresh fish, braaiing (outdoor cooking over coals), steaming,
poaching, frying or even making Sushi – his
aim is always to delight and satisfy his guests in every way.
And he’s more than happy to give you a glimpse of his
kitchen’s “kokoro” (Japanese for ‘heart’).
From
breakfast through to lunch and dinner, small bites and picnic
baskets – a delicious
experience awaits you!
BREAKFAST
Start the day with a scrumptious
breakfast from our Retreat Kitchen.
LUNCH
Lunch is served from 12:00 – 16:00
on the veranda or in the dining room.
DINNER
Treat yourself to a fabulous three-course
dinner-by-candlelight on the veranda, with only the sound of
the waves in the background.
Our dinner menu is kept as seasonal
as possible. Which means that it changes regularly. You will
find a copy of the menu at Reception. And, of course, we will
gladly accommodate special requests wherever we can.
You are welcome
to contact Reception should you want to have a romantic dinner
somewhere else on the estate or if you’d
like us to arrange a picnic hamper. We will gladly arrange
the perfect dining experience for you! |
